President's Message
The second half of the school year is in full swing and spring fever is in the air!  Unfortunately, the only kind of fever at our house has been the crummy kind with stuffy noses and coughing!  This has caused my "to do" list to get longer and longer.  Luckily, I'm fortunate to have a fantastic Executive Board that helps me knock off items on the list!

The PTA Nominating Committee is hard at work preparing the 2013-14 slate for next year. The Committee is looking for volunteers for the following positions:
  • Registration Chair and Committee

Work with CCLF and the Office Manager to coordinate Coyote Creek's August Registration.

  • Hospitality Chairs

Bring beverages and snacks to Principal Chats (monthly) and Association Meetings (5 meetings).  Help coordinate the Staff Luncheons.

  • Fall Fundraiser Chair

Provide input for choosing the next Fall Fundraiser!  Manage and promote the fundraiser mid-September - October.

  • Picture Day Coordinator

Recruit volunteers and manage the schedule for the Fall and Spring Picture Days.

  • Coins for a Cure Chair

Coordinate the Coins for Cure fundraiser in October to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

There's something for everyone - short term commitments or year long Chair Positions, such as Hospitality.

If you're interested in these positions, please contact one of the following PTA Nominating Committee members:

If you picture our PTA as just a small crew of moms who meet now and then to plan bake sales, you may be in for a big surprise.  With districts facing major budget cuts, PTA plays a vital role in providing programs and services that help enrich our student's educational experience.

I'm proud to say, our PTA Executive Board is a group of strong and committed parents that partner with our teachers and members.  We work hard to make this school as great as it can be.  We've yet to sit around and plan a bake sale...

Warm regards,
Heidi Boaz
